Welcome to FinTick. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") explain the rules for using the FinTick mobile application ("App", "FinTick", "we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using FinTick, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the App.

About FinTick

FinTick is a financial calculation and utility application designed to help users perform calculations and view reference information related to areas such as:

  • Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG) calculations
  • Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG) calculations
  • Futures & Options (F&O) profit and loss calculations
  • Intraday trading profit and loss calculations
  • Position sizing calculations
  • Portfolio profit and loss calculations
  • Brokerage and broker charge calculations
  • Other related financial calculations and utilities

FinTick is intended as a calculation and reference tool and is not a financial advisory service.

Financial, Investment, and Tax Disclaimer

FinTick provides calculations, estimates, and reference information for general informational and educational purposes.

FinTick does NOT provide: Financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, or recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any financial product or security.

Calculations and results provided by FinTick should not be treated as professional advice or as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Financial markets, brokerage charges, taxes, government rules, exchange charges, and other financial information can change over time.

You are responsible for verifying important information and calculations with the relevant broker, exchange, government authority, official source, Chartered Accountant, financial professional, or other qualified professional before relying on the information for financial, investment, trading, or tax decisions.

Using FinTick does not create a financial advisory, investment advisory, accounting, tax, legal, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and FinTick.

Publicly Available Information

FinTick may use publicly available information relating to brokers, brokerage rates, fees, charges, taxes, and other financial or calculation-related reference information.

This information may come from publicly available sources, including information published by brokers, regulators, government authorities, exchanges, or other relevant sources.

We may update this information through our API when new or revised publicly available information becomes available.

Although we aim to keep information reasonably current and accurate, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

Users should verify important information with the relevant official or authoritative source before relying on it.

Accuracy and Availability

FinTick is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate calculations and information, but we do not guarantee that:

  • Calculations will always be completely accurate or error-free
  • Financial or tax information will always be current
  • Broker charges or fees will always reflect the latest changes
  • The App will always be available or uninterrupted
  • The App will be free from bugs, errors, or technical issues
  • Information obtained from third-party or public sources will always be complete or accurate

You should independently verify important results before making financial or tax decisions.

Local Data and Data Loss

FinTick stores certain calculation information locally on your device.

You are responsible for maintaining and safeguarding information stored on your device.

We are not responsible for loss of locally stored information resulting from circumstances such as:

  • Device failure
  • Device damage or loss
  • Application removal
  • Operating-system changes
  • Device resets
  • User actions or errors
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Acceptable Use

You agree to use FinTick only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or its services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or API
  • Use automated tools to abuse, overload, or unnecessarily access our services
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law
  • Introduce malicious software or harmful code into the App or its services
  • Use the App for fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purposes

Intellectual Property

FinTick and its associated software, design, branding, graphics, text, and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized by us, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit FinTick or its proprietary content.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use FinTick for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms.

Third-Party Services

FinTick uses certain third-party services and infrastructure, including services provided by Google Firebase and Cloudflare.

These services may be necessary for features such as application analytics, crash diagnostics, API delivery, and retrieving publicly available reference information.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinTick and its operator shall not be responsible for losses or damages resulting from your use of, or reliance on, the App or information provided through the App.

This may include, where permitted by law, financial losses, trading losses, tax-related consequences, loss of data, business interruption, or other indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes, Suspension, or Termination

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of FinTick or its features at any time.

We may also update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to the App, our services, or applicable legal requirements.

If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should stop using the App.

You may stop using FinTick at any time by uninstalling the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of these Terms will be updated.

Your continued use of FinTick after updated Terms become available means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India.

Any dispute relating to FinTick or these Terms will be handled in accordance with applicable Indian law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
